Dans le Noir ? won the award of Randstad Foundation in the category "labor inclusion of people with disabilities"

The past June 8th of 2022 was the 17th edition from the Randstad Foundation award ceremony. The company Dans le Noir ? was honored to receive a reward for the innovative and inclusive concept they carry.

Each year since 2004, the award ceremony from Foundation Randstad in Spain makes a special mention to the development of inclusive initiatives to  people with disabilities. To this seventeenth edition, this event took place in the complex Rafael del Pino.

After an exciting and inspiring ceremony, Dans le Noir ? had been awarded in the category "labor integration of people with disabilities implemented by an SME" among 6 others categories.

Thanks to their innovative and inclusive concept, the restaurant where you can enjoy your meal in complete darkness, the firm highlights as compromised with the labor inclusion through an alternative and original experience.

In the restaurants of Dans le Noir ?, the clients can taste their surprise meal in full darkness guided by blind waiters. This is a sensorial experience, an original restaurant where you can play with your other senses and challenge them. At the same time, this is a human experience; here the blind waiter is the guide and the customers need their support to enjoy the dinner. This is a way for the clients to change their perspective and “point of view” by changing the social role during the experience. Likewise the darkness gives another kind of  opportunity ; this is a social experience where everyone can share free of visual prejudices, with their guide or other clients.
